1. Acceptance

By using RoomieMatch, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What RoomieMatch provides

RoomieMatch helps facilitate roommate discovery. We do not guarantee safety, compatibility, lease approval, housing availability, background accuracy, or identity accuracy. You are responsible for your own decisions, meetings, and agreements.

3. AI matching

Compatibility scores and AI-generated notes are informational only. They may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for housing or safety decisions.

4. Verification

A verified badge means we reviewed a submission — it is not a guarantee of trustworthiness, criminal history, or financial reliability.

5. Conduct

You agree not to harass, spam, scam, impersonate others, or misuse the platform. We may suspend accounts and cooperate with reports of illegal activity.

6. Payments

Paid plans (Match Pass Monthly subscription, Founding Lifetime one-time) grant premium features described at checkout. Subscriptions renew until canceled in the billing portal. Refunds may be granted at our discretion within 14 days where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoomieMatch is not liable for disputes, injuries, financial loss, or property damage arising from use of the service or interactions with other users.
